DOUG DINY: ALL TALK, NO RESULTS

Unlike Mayor Katie’s track record of getting results for Wausau, Doug Diny has done nothing in all his years on the Wausau City Council. Without a record to run on, Doug Diny is running a hollow campaign propped up by dark money from far-right special interest groups.

Despite promises to “absolutely” reject help from dark money and special interest groups, Doug Diny’s campaign is propped up by far-right dark money and special interest groups. Doug Diny broke his promise (00:18:25) to Wausau—his campaign is benefitting from baseless attacks launched by far-right dark money groups from Milwaukee and Madison that have ties to Robin Vos and MAGA Republicans.

Doug Diny has campaigned on expanding Wausau city bureaucracy by hiring a city administrator. Doug Diny is running to be CEO of the city—a full time job—with a promise to hire someone else at taxpayer expense to do his job for him. Wausau needs a full-time executive, not a full time politician looking to farm out the hard work to a city bureaucrat.
